Here are what I consider the Best Natural Remedies for High Blood Pressure. Most of the time people promoting vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc for helping with high blood pressure offer, at best, anecdotal evidence regarding the efficacy of their suggested course of action. The ideas that follow here have been proven by research to work. None works "instantly" usually and all must be used on a regular basis, but these strategies have been shown to work by researchers and are, at the least, worthy of your consideration.

Technically speaking (according to the Mayo Clinic), "High blood pressure is a common condition in which the force of the blood against your artery walls is high enough that it may eventually cause health problems, such as heart disease. Blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood your heart pumps and the amount of resistance to blood flow in your arteries. The more blood your heart pumps and the narrower your arteries, the higher your blood pressure."

What that definition doesn't tell you is that High Blood Pressure is one of the most insidious prolems facing Americans today. It "sneaks" up on us and can be a contributing factor for heart disease, stroke, and even renal (kidney) failure.

It can be treated with prescription drugs, but some patients report that those drugs leave them feeling worse than before they addressed their high blood pressure. As a result, those prescriptions often go unused. In some senses, you can't blame the patient!

Are there Natural Remedies for High Blood Pressure that provide equally good results without the sometimes debilitating side effects?

Here are some possible options to lower high blood pressure naturally.

For the most part, I don't plan in subsequent updates to mention the normal herbs that others suggest. I don't think they give the bang for the buck that the natural remedies for high blood pressure offer that I've listed below.

As you review the different options you'll note each addresses one specific aggravating factor of high blood pressure: spinal alignment, stress, magnesium deficiency, chronic dehydration etc. While the use of one strategy may return your blood pressure to a normal range, it's possible more than one approach combined would have optimal effects for any given person.That's just something to consider.

Yes, one of the natural remedies for high blood pressure is through proper chiropractic care.

Some studies of the effects of chiropractic adjustment on the C-1 Vertebra or "Atlas".

When the "Atlas" is not properly aligned, it can cause a definite loss of blood flow to the brain. To compensate, the body works harder to send sufficient blood supply, raising overall blood pressure to accomplish the task (or so the theory goes).

It's worth checking out with a chiropractic professional but if this is not the issue, other approaches will have to be taken of course.
